Someone recently said that the New Catholic Church masses are recorded in a “Mom’s basement.”
But let me share with you a mystery:
My “Mom” is the Queen of the Heavens — the Divine Presence, the Shekhinah, buried deep within the exile of this world. Her glory is hidden, like treasure underground. So yes, I work in a basement — where it’s dark, forgotten, and lowly — because that’s where She is. That’s where the healing of the world begins.
Truth is born in humility. And love rises from below.
